来源：NUS DEGREE REQUIREMENTS A student must complete a minimum of 40 MCs with a minimum CAP of 3.0 as follows: (a) The four ISE graduate foundation modules IE5001, IE5002, IE5003 and IE5004 (Total 16 MCs). IE 5001 Operations Planning and Control I IE 5002 Applied Engineering Statistics IE 5003 Cost Analysis and Engineering Economy IE 5004 Engineering Probability and Simulation (b) At least 16 MCs of ISE elective graduate modules at level 5000 and above. (c) Subject to the Department’s approval, the remaining MCs may be from modules outside the Department and at level 4000 or above. AREA OF SPECIALIZATION Students may opt for either a general program of study, or a program with specialization in one of the four areas: Logistics A student must complete a minimum of 40 MCs with a satisfactory CAP as follows:(a) The four ISE graduate foundation modules: IE5001, IE5002, IE5003, and IE5004. (b) The following two Logistics compulsory modules: IE 5401 Industrial Logistics IE 5405 Inventory Systems (c) At least two of the following Logistics concentration modules: IE 5107 Material Flow Systems IE 5108 Facility Layout and Location IE 5123 Reliability Engineering IE 5202 Applied Forecasting Methods IE 5208 Systems Approach to Project Management A graduate-level Logistics-related module approved by the Department. (d) The remaining MCs in elective modules within or outside the Department subject to general requirements. Operations Research A student must complete a minimum of 40 MCs with a satisfactory CAP as follows:(a) The four ISE graduate foundation modules: IE5001, IE5002, IE5003, and IE5004. (b) At least four of the following OR concentration modules: IE 5107 Material Flow Systems IE 5108 Facility Layout and Location IE 5202 Applied Forecasting Methods IE 5203 Decision Analysis IE 5401 Industrial Logistics IE 5404 Large Scale Systems Engineering IE 5405 Inventory Systems IE 5504 Systems Modeling and Advanced Simulation IE 5506 Computer-Based Decision Systems IE 5508 Applied Systems Optimization IE 6503 Advanced Operations Research A graduate-level OR-related module approved by the Department. (c) The remaining MCs in elective modules within or outside the Department subject to general requirements. Project Management A student must complete a minimum of 40 MCs with a satisfactory CAP as follows: (a) The four ISE graduate foundation modules: IE5001, IE5002, IE5003, and IE5004. (b) The PM compulsory module: IE 5208 Systems Approach to Project Management. (c) At least three of the following PM concentration modules: IE 5121 Quality Planning and Management IE 5202 Applied Forecasting Methods IE 5203 Decision Analysis IE 5211 New Product Management IE 5212 Management of Technological Innovation IE 5404 Large Scale Systems Engineering IE 5291 Special Topics in Engineering Management A graduate-level PM-related module approved by the Department. (d) The remaining MCs in elective modules within or outside the Department subject to general requirements. Quality Engineering A student must complete a minimum of 40 MCs with a satisfactory CAP as follows: (a) The four ISE graduate foundation modules: IE5001, IE5002, IE5003, and IE5004.(b) At least four of the following QE concentration modules: IE 5121 Quality Planning and Management IE 5122 Statistical Quality Control IE 5123 Reliability Engineering IE 5124 Quality and Reliability by Design IE 5125 Software Quality Engineering IE 5202 Applied Forecasting Methods IE 5301 Human Factors in Engineering and Design IE 6126 Advanced Industrial Data Modeling and Analysis IE 6127 Six Sigma Methodologies A graduate-level QE-related module approved by the Department. (c) The remaining MCs in elective modules within or outside the Department subject to general requirements. All modules are 4 MCs and some modules are offered in selected years only. |
